Yn y Gymru gyfoes, gyda thwf sefydliadau megis Llywodraeth Cymru a chyflwyno Safonau’r Gymraeg, mae’r gallu i ddefnyddio’r Gymraeg ar lefel broffesiynol yn hynod ddeniadol i gyflogwyr. Yn yr un modd mae galw cynyddol am raddedigion â sgiliau a phrofiad galwedigaethol. Nod y Rhaglen gyffrous, gyfoes ac amrywiol hon yw cynhyrchu graddedigion sydd yn meddu ar sgiliau academaidd a sgiliau cyflogadwyedd o’r radd flaenaf er mwyn eu paratoi ar gyfer dilyn gyrfa lwyddiannus mewn ystod o feysydd gwahanol.
Bydd y Rhaglen yn cynnig llwybr ac iddo ffocws galwedigaethol pendant a fydd yn meithrin ymwybyddiaeth a sgiliau priodol i’r gweithle proffesiynol ac i astudio maes y Gymraeg fel ei gilydd. Y nod fydd arfogi myfyrwyr â gwybodaeth, dealltwriaeth a sgiliau ar gyfer y Gymraeg. Cynnwys hyn yrfaoedd sy’n gofyn am wybodaeth a sgiliau penodol, megis cyfieithu, cynllunio ieithyddol a pholisi iaith, addysg neu’r diwydiant treftadaeth, ond ceir hefyd bwyslais ar sgiliau trosglwyddadwy. Bydd y rhain yn galluogi gweithlu i ddefnyddio’r Gymraeg ‘mewn ffyrdd mwy ymarferol, creadigol a difyr’, ys dywedodd y Prif Weinidog wrth lansio gweledigaeth ar gyfer miliwn o siaradwyr Cymraeg erbyn 2050. Canolbwyntir ar agweddau megis y gallu i gyfathrebu’n effeithiol ar lafar ac yn ysgrifenedig, y gallu i ddadansoddi a dehongli’r byd o’ch cwmpas mewn modd beirniadol a chreadigol, creu testunau a dogfennau proffesiynol, a’r gallu i weithredu’n annibynnol ar lefel uchel. Disgyblaeth y Gymraeg fydd craidd y Rhaglen a’r nod fydd darparu sgiliau a phrofiadau academaidd a galwedigaethol ar lefel uchel, megis darllen, dehongli a chynhyrchu amrywiaeth o destunau, datrys problemau, creu strategaethau a gweithio fel unigolyn ac mewn tîm. Elfen bwysig o’r Rhaglen yw’r cyfle i ymgymryd â chyfnodau o brofiad gwaith ar leoliad ym Mlynyddoedd 2 a 3 er mwyn cymhwyso’r wybodaeth a’r sgiliau a enillir mewn modd ymarferol i’r byd gwaith go iawn.
Mae’r Rhaglen hon yn agored i fyfyrwyr sydd wedi astudio Cymraeg Safon Uwch iaith gyntaf neu ail iaith. Er mai’r un radd a enillir gan bob myfyriwr o gwblhau’r rhaglen astudio yn llwyddiannus, mae’r Ysgol yn cynnig llwybrau gwahanol i fyfyrwyr iaith gyntaf ac ail iaith ym Mlwyddyn 1 er mwyn eich cynorthwyo i bontio’n effeithiol rhwng Safon Uwch a lefel y radd. Bydd myfyrwyr y flwyddyn gyntaf yn astudio modiwlau penodol yn unol â’r llwybr a ddilynir.

For applicants taking the EPQ qualification, an A in the EPQ can be recognised to lower the entry requirements by a single grade. For example, an AAB offer would be “AAB from 3 A-levels or ABB from 3 A-levels and a grade A in the EPQ”. Please note that any subject specific requirements must be met.
