Our BEng Mechanical Engineering Design degree covers a wide range of engineering practice. You’ll learn key skills and focus on computer-based engineering design.
You’ll discover how to turn basic engineering principles into design possibilities. As well as find solutions for industry problems. You’ll take design ideas and turn them into computer models and create your own design solutions for your work portfolio.
You’ll learn in state-of-the-art facilities with industry standard software including:

stress and dynamics analysis packages
computational fluid dynamics
engine simulation software
specialised vehicle-performance simulation software.
