Validated by the University of Brighton, this highly successful and practical programme is designed to take foundation degree students to the next level of personal and professional development. The course offers students the opportunity to explore the marriage of creativity and technology. Students have access to eight studios and 13 workstations with industry-standard hardware/software and can book one-to-one sessions with recording technicians. Sussex Downs College has received national AoC Beacon status for ‘Creativity in Writing, Art or Design’. The year is worth 120 Credits and this is spread across a total of 4 units. 3 of these units are valued at 20 credits each, and these are followed by a practical production-based Final Major Project that is worth 60 credits.

The BA(Hons) in Music Production and Creative Recording is entirely course work-based; there are no exams.
