You will have access to cutting-edge music technology for sound engineering, programming and audio-visual production work. **WHAT WILL I STUDY?** You will study recording, sequencing, mixing, mastering, songwriting, performance, business and film. You will create professional recordings, produce audio-visual work, compose/write original material, develop your performance skills, understand the music business including ‘survival skills’ and produce your own tracks with support from industry professionals. You will work on professional equipment, gaining technical and creative experience in multitrack recording, sequencing and programming. **WHAT CAN I DO AFTER COMPLETING THIS COURSE?** This course prepares you to progress to the BA Hons Music Production and Creative Recording, or to progress directly to industry.

You will study 7 primarily production-based units in your first year of study, and 5 on your second. You will study recording, sequencing, mixing, mastering, songwriting, performance, business and film. You will create professional recordings, produce audio-visual work, compose/write original material, develop your performance skills, understand the music business including ‘survival skills’ and produce your own tracks with support from industry professionals. You will work on professional equipment, gaining technical and creative experience in multitrack recording, sequencing and programming.
