This programme is designed to appeal to learners wishing to enter a profession as well as those seeking continuing professional development. They can also provide pathways for lifelong learning and the opportunity to progress to other qualifications. The course is designed specifically to cater for the needs of employees working in a management or supervisory role, or those aspiring to such a role. It aims to equip students to understand the nature of the organisations in which they work, the roles they are called upon to play, and how they might enhance their own performance in pursuit of their chosen careers. It also aims to set the work within an academic context.
