- Core GCSEs grade 9-4 (A*-C) which must include English and Maths. - Level 3 qualification for example DCE/NNEB or NVQ3/CCLD in Early Years Care and Education or equivalent. - Applicants must be working in an Early Years/Childcare setting and normally have been employed within such a setting for at least two years, or have two years previous experience in a work placement. Applicants must be involved in at least 12 hours per week of activity-focussed time with children.
