Course Summary

The BSc Psychology with Positive Education equips you with the knowledge and skills for a wide range of professions, including educational psychology, research or teaching. The programme links psychology and positive education, providing the knowledge and skills spanning both disciplines. You will build your understanding of how psychological theory, and more specifically positive psychology theory and wellbeing studies and research intersect with education in a wide range of settings. You will learn from academics working on groundbreaking research in psychology, positive psychology, coaching psychology and education. You will also develop the skills to apply psychological and educational theory to real-world situations through our opportunities to volunteer.

Course Details – Assessment Method

We’ll assess you with a mixture of coursework and exams. Coursework includes essays, research reports, group and seminar presentations, blogs/online portfolios and a final-year project. The balance of coursework and exams will depend on your optional choices. The split overall will be: 50% coursework 30% practical 20% exams We aim to provide feedback on assessments within 15 working days
