Course Summary

Adult nursing is a rewarding and challenging career, enabling you to make a real difference to people's lives. You will work with adults of all ages, who may have one or more long or short-term physical/mental health conditions. These could include: heart disease, arthritis, dementia, diabetes, cancer, injuries (caused by an accident, for example). You’ll learn first-hand from professionals on clinical placements in some of the largest NHS Trusts in east London. You’ll be supported by qualified mentors and practice educators. Adult nursing is a rewarding and challenging career, enabling you to make a real difference to people’s lives. You’ll work with adults of all ages, who may have one or more long or short-term physical/mental health conditions. As a student studying adult nursing you will achieve a BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing and become registered as an Adult Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Due to the current health crisis which has resulted in the Nursing and Midwifery Council revising the pre-registration regulations, at the present time, all Advance Standing applications and Accreditation of Prior Learning applications (Students transferring their credits from other institutions), have been placed on pause until further notice.
