Course Summary

From a birthday party to a music festival or a product launch to the World Cup final, memorable events make life special and take planning, skill and effort. Our BA Events Management degree will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to thrive in an industry that contributes an estimated £36 billion to the UK economy. And you’ll be learning just a few miles from some of the capital’s most famous venues, including the O2 Arena and the Olympic stadium. You’ll gain an in-depth understanding of the theoretical side of event planning, development and management, and this will be backed up by site visits to gain a practical understanding of how to run events. You’ll learn about the business principles underpinning the industry, with modules that cover marketing, finance and the law, as well as people and resource management.
