**About This Course** The course emphasises the development and enhancement of transferable intellectual and study skills, all of which are highly relevant to business and management careers. These include improved self-awareness and personal development appropriate to graduate careers in business, alongside a potential for management positions. You will also gain the quantitative and analytical skills that are essential for a successful career in the fast-paced industries of corporate finance, financial services or financial markets. The finance modules that we offer on the degree are recognised by the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) as strong preparation for selected CISI qualifications. As an accredited CISI Education Partner, we offer several scholarships every year that will cover the total exam costs for the CISI Level 3 award for Introduction to Investment. The scholarship will also provide you with a CISI Student membership, which offers access to careers events, employability training, on-campus presentations and exam bookings. The syllabus on the degree also covers a minimum of 70% of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute (CFA) Program Candidate Body of Knowledge. This means that upon a successful completion of the finance modules that we offer on the degree, you will be well positioned to obtain the CFA designation, which is highly prized and globally recognized. As a member of the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program, we are eligible to award a number of scholarships for the CFA Program each year.
