Illustration & Concept Art at University Centre Doncaster is a course built on the fundamental principles of perspective, composition, form, light, depth, colour and anatomy with drawing at it's core. We stand for the mastery of these fundamentals as essential building blocks leading to visual development using traditional and digital techniques in synthesis to create artwork, which is individual to you and commercially focussed on your career.
If you love drawing and design and are willing to commit to serious hard work and dedication there’s a place here for you.
This course aims to replicate, as closely as possible, the attitude, environment and practices found in professional studios. The focus is on transferable, traditional creative skills working hand in hand with high technology.
Acquire advanced professional skills leading to a specialist path.
Develop and produce a portfolio of creative and professional work.
Work on live projects and industrial placements. Identify a chosen specialist area and develop your portfolio accordingly.
