Course Summary

This programme is offered over 1 year full time and is ideal for those who have completed a relevant foundation degree. The BSc allows established Health & Social Care professionals to update their existing knowledge for the challenges of the future and their own career advancement. It will emphasise core professional practice and principles that underpin all activities involving eHealth, including ethics, consumer centeredness, critical thinking and evidence-based practice. The programme aims to prepare students in aspects of management and leadership in health and social care, to take wider responsibilities within their field of practice; development in critical understanding of the local, regional, national and international dimensions of health and social care policy and practice; development of students as producers and independent lifelong learners; preparation for students to work effectively and collaboratively across professional, organisational and sector boundaries.
