Course Summary

This Foundation Degree is based around your employment within the Early Years Sector and is specifically for practitioners who are working within the sector in either a paid role or in a voluntary capacity. The course provides the opportunity to develop your existing skills and knowledge with a particular emphasis on being a reflective practitioner. Much of your work is based on your role within the sector and attendance at college is therefore only one day per week. Study will include face-to face classes along with more flexible forms of study such as on-line learning and discussion forums. The course covers a wide range of topics which are relevant to working in the sector and will provide you with opportunities to reflect on and develop your practice. This course acknowledges previous study and experience and builds on this helping you to further develop existing skills and knowledge along with the ability to be a reflective practitioner. It will help you to develop further confidence in your work role.
