Well, with our course you'll be able to develop great practitioner skills to ignite and sustain healthy lifestyles and assist others to improve in their sport. You'll gain a deep knowledge of coaching, physical education and sport development from a sociological, scientific, philosophical and political perspective giving you scope to step into a diverse range of careers.
This programme is aimed at students who are interested in helping people develop through sport and physical education. Our modules are designed to give you a breadth of knowledge right across the sports coaching and physical education sector. For example, our experienced tutors will teach you how to plan, deliver and evaluate safe, ethical, and effective coaching programmes. This will enable you to help organisations, such as governing sports bodies, schools, and clubs, to develop coaches and sport.
Plus, with current and research-informed teaching, youÂll examine how communities can use sport to address issues in education, health, crime, and social inclusion.
