You will study the fundamentals of sound, signals and acoustics – an understanding of the basis of sound in terms of creation, capturing and distribution. You will also learn about the tools and techniques commonly used in music technology. Examples include: synthesis and sampling, multimedia programming, recording techniques and recording and mastering technology. The course has a strong sense of its position within the music business environment and you will study organisations within the music industry.
