Health and disease are examined through an in-depth investigation of anatomy and physiology of major body systems and the holistic influences on them in contemporary UK society. **Social Care Perspectives:** This module examines the provision of social care and how it is changing to meet the needs of people within the economic constraints and demographic changes in contemporary society.
