BSc Psychology with Integrated Study Abroad will enable you to discover another culture and life in another country whilst at the same time expanding your knowledge of Psychology. As a scientific study of the mind and behaviour, psychology is a diverse and dynamic field of study and our **British Psychological Society (BPS)-accredited** degree is designed to bring this exciting subject to life. When you study with us, you will be taught by academic staff members who are established experts in their respective fields, many of whom are BPS-accredited Chartered Psychologists (CPsychol).
The Department has outstanding teaching and research facilities, including modern tracking equipment, a child development laboratory, a biopotential recording laboratory, an EEG laboratory and sound attenuated chamber, a video laboratory and control room for observational research, and a dedicated computer lab. All our degree schemes are designed with employability in mind and are accredited by the BPS – perfect for graduate-level careers or access to postgraduate training.
This course is identical to its sister course C800, however, you will have an additional year of funding to undertake your year studying abroad. If you are unable to obtain a work placement, you can simply transfer to our three-year sister programme.
Student destinations include Europe and further afield in countries such as USA, Canada, Australia to name a few. The Year Abroad is where our graduates are more distinguished than others. On successful completion of the Year Abroad, students return with an increased skill set and the ability to adapt in most situations. As a student in the Department of Psychology, you will experience an innovative approach to learning and teaching.
