The University of Chichester Conservatoire has one of the largest and liveliest musical theatre departments in the UK with a community of over 400 student performers. You will get to showcase public performances with professional production teams for regional tours, major art festivals and to create and premiere new commissions. Musical Theatre (Cabaret) supports the aspiration of many musical theatre performers to combine their stage experience with a career in holiday park, entertainments and cruise work. The course provides employers with talented graduates in an area where skilled practitioners are in demand and where young performers in particular are welcomed. We have a well developed network of employers and agents with whom we can work to efficiently introduce our musical theatre trained students, who will be studying Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Ensemble, stage acting and singing as part of their training to career opportunities in the industry. Staff teaching on the programme have headlined on Holland America, Royal Caribbean, Cunard, Crystal, Radisson, Princess, NCL, Saga and Fred Olsen.
