Our BA (Hons) Marketing and Human Resource Management degree is a vocational marketing management programme that will prepare you for a successful career in the marketing or HR sector. Underpinned by a broad-based business and management education, your marketing expertise and professionalism will develop through the study of challenging and vocational marketing modules. Over the course of your degree, you’ll encounter practice-based marketing topics in a range of learning environments – focusing primarily on activity-based workshops, online study and work-based learning. Students are encouraged to take a placement in the third year of their studies and have the opportunity to undertake a 10 week placement as part of their final year studies, alongside modules in International marketing and integrated marketing communications.

The standard entry requirement for this programme is IELTS 6.0 with no element lower than 5.5. However, you can begin your 3-year degree programme with IELTS 5.5. Our International Route allows you to take 4 credit-bearing modules in International English Studies (IES) as part of your first year studies. This means you study 4 modules in your chosen subject and 4 in International English. The IES Modules allow you to focus on personal language development and your use of English as an academic language. Then, at the end of your first year, you’ll have all the necessary language skills to transfer to full study of your main subject. If you have an IELTS score under 5.5 you can still begin a 3-year degree programme with us. In this case we provide a 5 or 10 week intensive Presessional Programme in English language and academic skills. For the 10 week Programme you’ll need IELTS 4.5, and IELTS 5.0 for the 5 week Programme.
