The BA (Hons) in Event Management Top-Up is an exciting degree which draws on the skills and expertise of our teaching staff who come from a range of disciplines and includes modules in the areas of business management, project management, hospitality, sponsorship, public relations, multi-media marketing and mega-events.
All level 6 students plan a final year ‘live’ event. You may work with tutors in small groups of 6-8 to deliver an event for a client. In the past students have organised spectacular events including auctions, gala balls, award ceremonies, music festivals, fashion exhibitions, sport challenge events, game shows and family fun days. If you choose to write a thesis, you will be assigned to your own personal project supervisor.
Event Management students go on to work in the corporate, international hospitality, tourism, sport and charity sectors.
Suitable for progression from a relevant HND.
