The Level 6 Top-Up is designed for students who have successfully completed a relevant Policing, Law and Investigation Foundation Degree course and who now wish to progress onto the full time BSc (Honours) degree in Policing, Law and Investigation.
The course is delivered at the University’s Warrington Campus by retired experienced police officers who possess a wealth of knowledge and subject expertise in specialist areas to enhance your learning experience.
Successful completion of this course will not only equip you with the knowledge and understanding in a wide range of contemporary policing topics but will also influence your skills of analysis and reflection in a variety of law enforcement situations influencing the way you to conduct impartial, fair and objective investigations.
The course will develop your ability to utilise research skills, evaluate existing bodies of knowledge, critically evaluate new information and ideas, and accept accountability for your actions and conclusions, all key requirements for a career in law enforcement.
