**Why Study With Us?**
Here’s a quote from Sarah Carter (first class hons graduate in Marketing Management and award winner of the Dean’s commendation for performance):
“I was inspired by the enthusiasm of my marketing lecturers. It gave me a vision of what I really wanted to do. It has not been easy, but thinking about my future and studying something I am passionate about has got me through. Being committed and not giving up is the key to success.”

Course Details - Modules
Your transformation from new student to future marketing professional will begin from day one. Your Foundation Year (Level 3) will provide you with a broad subject knowledge base that will introduce you to the key themes and perspectives relating to your chosen degree. You will also develop the academic skills needed to succeed in your degree area, such as academic writing, referencing and public speaking. In Year 1 (Level 4) you will gain an understanding of marketing in a real-life context along with essential digital marketing skills. You will also develop management awareness in areas such as finance, people and organisations.
In Year 2 (Level 5), you will use this marketing knowledge to make key decisions and consider the different ways businesses operate around the world. You will start to shape your career path by choosing an aspect of marketing and a five week work placement that suits your personal interests and ambitions.
Your final year (Level 6) is even more tailored towards giving you the competitive edge you need to enter the area of marketing you want. You will carry out an original supervised research project into a subject you select and complete a module designed to maximise your individual professional success. Everything you study will be anchored to today’s business world. You will be looking at small local businesses right through to the leading brands, as well as up-coming trends in key marketing areas such customer behaviour and digital communications.
