At its heart, International Relations, is a discussion - at the individual, state and international level - it is about power within a global context. Its breadth allows for the development of student-oriented specialisms. State and non-state actors are examined through theoretical and practical lenses. Issues concerning security, war, terrorism, humanitarian interventions, the environment, the economy and how governments communicate are key areas.
