Professional registration with the AfN is rapidly gaining recognition by relevant employers, and our Human Nutrition course is accredited by the Association for Nutrition (AfN). This accreditation can accelerate your process, once graduated, to become a registered nutritionist (R.Nutr.). Nutrition is an interesting integration of biology, food science, health and sociology. Highly trained professionals in nutrition are needed to provide expert advice on the nutrition, safety and health benefits of foods for individuals, the community and the food industry.Teaching takes place at the Parkgate Road campus.

Course Details – Assessment Method

A variety of teaching and assessment methods are used throughout your course. Lectures are complemented with tutorials and laboratory work, giving you an opportunity to work in teams, problem solve and interact one-to-one with tutors.
