This course allows students to focus on the use of psychology in areas including understanding crime and criminality, criminal investigation and profiling, the criminal justice system, as well as the many specialist areas in which forensic psychologists work.
This course is also accredited by The British Psychological Society as conferring eligibility for the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC), provided the minimum standard of 2:2 honours is achieved (subject to confirmation). This can be the first step towards becoming a Chartered Psychologist, and allows you to apply for accredited postgraduate courses in forensic psychology.
