Education Studies will provide you with an excellent knowledge of theory and practice in education. Combined with another subject, our course builds on the disciplines of Sociology, Philosophy, Psychology, Political Science and History to enable you to develop knowledge and skills in the academic study of education.
English Literature - Over three years you will study a variety of texts from the earliest times to the present day. Through the study of stimulating texts you will develop a range of core skills which will be relevant after graduation to many different roles and employment opportunities.

Course Details – Assessment Method
Education Studies - Assessment is mainly through written assignments of between 1,500 to 2,500 words. Some modules may require presentations before a written assignment is submitted. There are also two research-based modules on this course.
English Literature - Assessment methods vary, and may include: coursework essays, seminar papers, oral presentations, resource-based learning exercises, portfolios, learning diaries, and a small number of formal examinations.
