Course Details - Modules
Your transformation from new student to future digital marketing expert starts from day one. In your first year, learn marketing fundamentals alongside practical application. This includes planning, building and successfully launching a website. You will build on this in year two. Open and explore the digital marketer’s tool-kit. Learn to use these tools, including social media, mobile, virtual and augmented reality. Discover the wealth of possibilities this toolkit has for creating outstanding, successful campaigns. Start to shape your career path by focusing on an aspect of digital marketing that inspires you and undertake a 5-week work placement that suits your personal interests and ambitions. In your final year you will look at all the exciting developments in digital marketing technology that will impact upon the future of marketing. This includes mixed reality, understanding big data, and smart technologies. You will carry out an original supervised research project into a subject you select and complete a module designed to maximise your individual professional success. Everything you study is done alongside the development of hands-on digital marketing skills. You will be looking at solutions to digital marketing challenges for organisations from small companies, charities through to leading multi-nationals.
