Teaching takes place at the Parkgate Road Campus.
Although our Counselling Skills course will not train you as a therapeutic counsellor, it offers you the chance to gain highly developed skills to help others. On completion of the course you will have developed your confidence to work effectively within a team, and gained a vital range of human relationship skills, which will enable you to respond professionally to the complexities of concerns that occur within a workplace environment.
The Department of Psychology at Chester offers both Single Honours and Combined Honours degrees. Many Psychology departments offer Single Honours degrees accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS). However, Chester is unusual in that it also offers accredited Combined Honours degrees for students who major in Psychology.
