**Course overview** - Want to work in the area of adult and young people’s sexual health? This BSc in Sexual Health is the UK’s first non-clinical undergraduate programme available on UCAS. - You’ll learn about the impact of sexual health on individuals and the wider community from a broad perspective. - Subjects covered include contraception, unplanned pregnancy, sexual health, asymptomatic screening for STIs, blood borne viruses, sexual health policy, safeguarding, sex and relationships education, motivational interviewing and enhanced communication skills. - You’ll develop specialist theoretical knowledge in the care of clients accessing a broad range of sexual health related services. **Why study with us** - The course is more relevant than ever as new regulations have made Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) compulsory in schools in England and Wales. - BSc (Hons) Sexual Health Studies is ranked 1st in the North West with 91% of students satisfied with the learning resources (National Student Survey 2020). - International visits provide you with real-life experiences in countries such as Uganda, Zambia and the Netherlands.
