**Course overview**
- On our BSc (Hons) Psychology & Criminology degree you’ll study the nature of crime in society and gain an understanding of crime and criminal behaviour from two complementary perspectives.
- On the Psychology & Criminology course you study the core Psychology modules alongside the related discipline of Criminology. Choose from a range of criminology and psychology optional modules, exploring issues such as violent and sexual offending, cybercrime, youth justice and the operation of the police and prison services. This provides you with the benefits of understanding perspectives from different disciplines on the same phenomena and provides you with a wide range of career options upon completion of the course.

Crime and Morality, Introduction to Criminal Process and Procedure, An Introduction to Evolutionary Psychology, Topics in Forensic and Criminal Psychology, Psychology of the Media, Mind Games: Topics in Sport and Exercise Psychology
Year 2: Compulsory modules; Psychological Research 1: Design and Quantitative Methods, Psychological Research 2: Qualitative Methods, Social and Developmental Psychology, Cognitive and Physiological Psychology, Individual Differences.
Optional modules: Forensic Psychology, Critical Thinkers in Criminology, Understanding Interpersonal Violence, Understanding Policing, Youth Justice
Year 3: Compulsory Options; Forensic Psychology Project, Violent and Sexual Offending, Crime: Impacts and Consequences.
