**Course overview** - Take the first step into the Policing profession, with a degree programme offering the skills, knowledge and understanding you’ll need to become a police constable. - Our Professional Policing BSc (Hons) degree covers all of the knowledge and many of the skills elements of the national curriculum for the police constable role, enabling you to take your first steps towards a successful career in the Police. - We are not only officially licenced and approved by the College of Policing, but we also have a long-standing reputation for top quality Policing courses, due to our high levels of professional experience and expertise. - You’ll study areas including response policing, policing communities, policing the roads, intelligence and conducting investigations – covering the Core Requirements of the National Policing Qualification. Year 3; Advanced Policing Knowledge & Skills, Coaching & Mentoring, Advanced Core Policing and Specialist Research Project.

Course Details – Assessment Method

A three year degree qualification typically comprises 360 credits and each 20 credit (a standard module) equates to 200 hours of study, which comprises of a mixture of lectures, seminars, tutorials, practical sessions and independent study.
