This course is your chance to prepare for outdoor adventure, with the skills for a career of coaching and leadership. - This unique degree course is designed to offer a route into the professional outdoor adventure industry, with an advanced understanding of the practical, theoretical and contemporary issues within adventure sport and outdoor leadership. Whatever your level of experience of coaching in this field, you’ll develop both academic understanding in the classroom and practical skills on residentials at an outdoor teaching centre. - While you’ll learn from teaching staff who are experts in their field – with the research track records to prove it – this is a student-centred course. As such, you’ll learn among other practitioners in the industry, allowing you to share ideas and develop a new community of practice. - You’ll have the flexibility to pick option units that match your interests and ambitions, from expedition planning to creative teaching.
