**Course overview** - We’re one of the only universities in the North West to offer a Mathematics degree which allows you to choose from a range of pure, applied and statistics modules throughout the course. You can opt to study specialist areas such as cryptology, mathematical biology, and logic. - This course covers a wide range of mathematical topics, with the chance to shape your degree to your own interests and career aspirations. This involves being paid to spend the summer working closely with a member of staff on a research project. By taking on this opportunity you’ll experience what it’s like to undertake cutting-edge research as you develop a variety of skills which will be highly valued by future employers. At the end of the internship you’ll present your work through a poster session.
