**Course Overview**
- Step into Shakespeare on our new English Literature and History Foundation Entry course. You’ll approach history from different angles – including culture, gender and social.
- Foundation Entry degree courses are ideal if you’ve got the ability to study for a degree, but don’t have the necessary formal qualifications to directly join an honours programme. It’s a great stepping stone to a full degree.
- On the literature side of this course you’ll study traditional literature alongside options such as American literature and culture, gothic, graphic novels, theatre, film, children’s literature and the fairy tale.
- On the history side, you’ll explore issues of culture, social and gender across different eras and you’ll also get insights into international history and politics.
