Course Summary
This degree aims to help you develop professional skills in English across a wide range of business-related domains and will be of interest if you wish to work or have already worked in communication-oriented careers related to international business and management. It will prepare you for any career or field of postgraduate study requiring a mixture of business knowledge, high-level English language skills and cultural awareness, eg, public relations, marketing and advertising. The School’s quality stamp in English language provision is officially accredited by the British Council. We are also a provider of the Certificate in International Business English Training, accredited by Trinity College London and English UK professional bodies.
The course is made up of two compulsory modules in English for International Corporate Communication (one module each in Semesters 1 and 2) and a range of optional modules depending on the specific pathway (Public Relations, Interpreting & Translating, Digital Business Communication, Tourism & Leisure, Marketing, International Business & Management, English for Management in the Workplace) that students choose to follow. Students can also take a dissertation module.
