**Course Overview** - Are you a community activist with a Foundation Degree or other Level 5 qualification? Convert it to a BA (Hons) Community Leadership degree, hosted at our Burnley Campus, in just one year. - Good community leadership starts with good collaboration and team-working skills – our peer-led programme is a great way to develop these and prepare for a rewarding career. - This course is where like-minded individuals come together to share experiences and best practice. You will explore community leadership, politics, governance, and global society as part of a lively learning community. Underpinned by the teachings of Paulo Freire, you will gain a theoretical understanding of how to sustain community regeneration. - The teaching team are all practitioners and internationally recognised in their fields. You’ll be based at our Burnley Campus in Pennine Lancashire, where you will benefit from small class sizes and a friendly, supportive learning environment. **Why study with us** - All students have the opportunity to take part in a Global Community Exchange or the peer leadership development programme, Global Youth Solutions.
