**Course Overview** - Apply modern, sustainable and energy-efficient engineering systems to built environments on a Building Services and Sustainable Engineering Foundation Entry course with global industry respect. - Foundation Entry degree courses are designed for students who have the ability to study for a degree, but don’t have the necessary formal qualifications to directly enter their chosen Honours degree programme. - Study areas include engineering services systems, controls and plant, energy efficiency and sustainable design, and project, resource and energy management.  - You’ll graduate with the ability to analyse, evaluate and ultimately solve problems associated with the built environment and building services engineering. **Why study with us** - Full-time students can spend an optional 48-week sandwich placement in industry. - Take the opportunity to visit Hong Kong for a week on an exchange and to experience the ASHRAE conference in the United States. - Flexible delivery of this course allows you to study whilst in employment. Our part-time teaching is delivered just one day per week. **Further Information** Progression routes within the Building services industry are relatively straightforward. If you work for clients or contractors, career progression is usually from a graduate engineer to project manager to project director. If you work in a design consultancy, career progression typically runs as graduate engineer to project engineer to associate partner to director or even senior partner or managing director. Promotion often depends upon gaining professional qualifications and appropriate experience, so it’s advisable to gain relevant qualifications and become a member of the appropriate professional body as early as possible. Chartered engineer status accords recognition in the UK and overseas. This course is accredited by the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE), preparing you to gain Chartered Engineering (CEng) status. The course is also delivered and validated by our team at universities in Hong Kong, Singapore and Athens.
