**Further Information**
Progression routes within the Building services industry are relatively straightforward.
If you work for clients or contractors, career progression is usually from a graduate engineer to project manager to project director.
If you work in a design consultancy, career progression typically runs as graduate engineer to project engineer to associate partner to director or even senior partner or managing director.
Promotion often depends upon gaining professional qualifications and appropriate experience, so it’s advisable to gain relevant qualifications and become a member of the appropriate professional body as early as possible. Chartered engineer status accords recognition in the UK and overseas.
This course is accredited by the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE), preparing you to gain Chartered Engineering (CEng) status.
The course is also delivered and validated by our team at universities in Hong Kong, Singapore and Athens.
