On this course you will explore the factors limiting sports performance, and develop strategies to overcome these limitations and breakthrough performance plateaus. The best Sport and Exercise Scientists have learnt that this is only half the battle; to be successful you need to master the art of providing feedback, support and advice in a way that is beneficial and easy to understand for athletes and coaches. These skills are developed with experience and this programme will help you become a reflective practitioner. You will study key modules in sports nutrition and performance analysis, as well as biomechanics and kinesiology. The broad range of areas you will cover ensures you get a taste of all areas of the sports science field gaining a thorough understanding along the way. Throughout the degree programme you will benefit from a variety of guest lectures from industry practitioners, field trips and have the chance to attend sport and exercise science conferences.
