Previous students have worked with companies such as Sony, Sennheiser and Universal Music. **What facilities can I use?** Our state-of-the-art recording studios give you access to the space and technology you need, from individual edit rooms to large Pro Tools HD studios with attached live rooms and vocal booths. **What will I study?** Created for today's music industry environment, this innovative degree has been uniquely designed for music performers of the 21st century. There will be a strong focus on online digital promotion and marketing techniques as well as learning about music publishing, contracts, intellectual property and entrepreneurship. There's an emphasis on the analysis of music through the study of genres, a unique A&R ('artists and repertoire') module and performance workshops run by experienced music industry professionals where you will receive mentoring on how to improve aspects of your music. You'll spend time in the studio exploring production techniques and in your third year, learn how to set up your own production company. **How will I be taught and assessed?** A variety of assessment methods will be used to best reflect the modules you take. You'll work on in-class assignments, workshops and presentations. Each assessment will be appropriate to the task at hand and vocationally focussed, forming a constructive part of your learning process.
