Course Summary
BA(Hons) Property Development and Planning (with Foundation Year) will give you a solid understanding of the concepts and requirements of urban planning and sustainable development.
This course is accredited by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). If you choose the three-year degree or sandwich course, you’ll meet the RICS’ educational requirements to become an accredited member.
Study the legal system and economic forces and their impact on creating healthy, sustainable communities. Learn about property valuation, landlord and tenant law and building construction.
Learn computer-assisted design (CAD), drawing, modelling and mapping. Assess urban design on day trips and residential field trips. Collaborate with students across related disciplines in an approach reflecting industry.
