Business (Team Entrepreneurship) (with Foundation Year)
Course Summary
BA(Hons) Business (Team Entrepreneurship) (with Foundation year) is ideal for those looking for a practical, hands-on approach to learning, who have the energy and commitment to take charge of their studies.
This is an innovative degree that gives you the opportunity to set-up and run your own team company. Inspired by the pioneering Finnish 'Team Academy' approach, UWE Bristol was among the first to introduce this course to the UK.
In the first few weeks you’ll form a Team Company of up to 20 students, and work on real projects with the potential to earn your own income while gaining entrepreneurial experience.
As a Team Entrepreneur, you’ll work in your own office environment in our innovative Bristol Business School building. You’ll deliver and manage projects, attend meetings, manage budgets and build valuable contacts and networks.
Your Team Company will run its own training sessions with the support of an experienced team coach. You’ll also join professional workshops and personal development sessions to ensure you develop your entrepreneurial potential.
This applied course prepares you for work in the same way a graduate development programme does, ensuring you’ll be a confident, highly motivated, employable and resilient graduate.
About one third of our graduates have already gone on to run successful businesses. The rest go into mainstream employment with successful careers in marketing, HR, coaching, education and development.
