The BA (Hons) Top-up Degree includes five exciting modules designed to develop your skills and understanding to a professional standard. Using advanced techniques and processes you will develop your own professional identity and dynamic portfolio underpinned by an appreciation of media make-up culture and theory. Students have the opportunity to specialise in a particular make-up discipline and develop their skills in that area. As a result, you can expect to graduate from the course with a strong portfolio in your chosen field. Career Progression This course is highly respected within the media industry and equips you with the advanced skills required for a flourishing career in a booming industry. Our graduates have gone on to work on productions such as Game of Thrones, Star Wars, or to work for companies such as Madame Tussauds or the English National Opera. Our specialist staff have extensive knowledge of the industry, along with the experience and expertise to guide you as you develop your skill set. Assessment is continuous by means of coursework. You will complete written assignments, journals and design presentations, as well as undertaking regular practical projects. You will also attend lectures and workshops and develop your research skills.
