Teaching methods focus on meeting your creative, conceptual and professional development needs. Teaching and learning is directed towards meeting your individual needs and is centred on supporting you in developing your own solutions to creative design and communication problems. As the course progresses we place an increasing emphasis on independent learning and critical self-awareness, which culminates in the production of a personal and professionally executed final major project and portfolio which demonstrates creativity and a range of appropriate professional skills. Teaching methods vary from student to student, based on your creative, conceptual and professional development rate and needs. We aim to tailor our teaching methods to suit the individual, and to overcome any creative or communication difficulties that may arise. The direct result of this is the completion of a Final Major Project in your final Level, which demonstrates your creativity and the skills you have acquired. In keeping with the challenges and pace of the course, you will be assessed through a combination of formative and summative assignments, in order to maintain a level of creative input and develop skills.
