This course is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills that you will require to become a change agent and leadership figure in the sector. It will provide you with the necessary skills and attributes to gain graduate employment within senior management and leadership roles within the sector or progress onto post graduate study. Through the programme, students are provided with the opportunity to develop knowledge and understanding of Leadership and Management, Human Rights, Global Perspectives on Health and Social Care and further advancement of your research skills through the dissertation. Through our employment focused programme the contemporary modules will provide opportunity to develop personal, academic and professional expertise that will support positive outcomes for all stakeholders. You will continue to be critical with the evidence base and this will lead to you develop advanced analytical approaches with a wider appreciation of the social, economic and political issues in Health and Social Care. Many of our graduates have gone on to become the leaders and managers of the future with skills in entrepreneurship and creativity for the services and clients using Health and Social Care services. This course is available to any student who has completed the Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care at Blackpool and The Fylde College in the last 5 years.
