The HNC in General Engineering aims to foster the technical and transferable skills required for employment within this specialised field. It is the product of close collaboration with key industry employers, many of whom support our students into employment. Graduates are now employed by major companies such as EDF Energy, Westinghouse (Springfields Fuels Ltd), BAE Systems, Airbus, NIC, GEC and Ford Motor Company as design, production, project or research and development engineers. Others have progressed to our BEng (Hons) Mechatronics.
