Course Summary

The programme will introduce relevant live projects, commercial and client-focused activity through a Final exhibition of student work and a design installation. These will encourage the student to explore and experiment into developing design techniques and materials outside the context in which first studied, proposing new and exciting ways to approach floristry design. It is intended that this approach will allow students to follow their own creative direction whilst under the supervision of dedicated specialist tutors. As with the Foundation Degree, students are encouraged to participate in high-profile floristry competitions and live projects. This has led to some prestigious wins, including at Chelsea Flower Show, Harrogate Flower Show and at the British Floristry Association’s competition. Students are encouraged to explore the full potential of their own creativity on a programme tailored to meet their personal needs as floristry designers. You will apply concepts and principles in exciting and innovative new frameworks and relationships, pursuing your own areas of interest and realising your personal creative preferences and aspirations.ner.
