Our course combines practical study of French and Spanish with investigations into the nature of language itself. You'll gain an understanding of French and Spanish culture and society which will underpin your abilities as a high-level communicator in both languages. You'll be confident using your languages not only as a means of communication, but also as a medium for critical thought. You'll spend a year abroad studying or teaching in Spanish and French-speaking countries, consolidating your language skills.
