Principles of Applied Economics Develop your understanding of economic principles and learn to apply standard economic techniques. You will explore microeconomic and macroeconomic theories and how they affect business decisions. Perspectives on Economic Growth and Development Learn key economic theories and discuss their application. Understand economic growth factors such as labour, capital and technological changes. Developing Analysis Techniques This module introduces essential quantitative methods for modelling and analysing financial data. Analyse practical situations and problem solve. Economic Policy and Practice Explore the fundamental concepts and techniques of macroeconomic analysis in more depth. Learn how the Central Bank and Government affect inflation, consumption, economic growth and unemployment. Bond and Equity Markets An introduction to the essential concepts of finance and capital markets. Use the London Stock Exchange trading platform that to create your own investment portfolio and compete in live trading. All modules are worth 20 credits unless stated otherwise.
