Course Summary

This BSc in cybersecurity will offer students the chance to develop skills that will set them up to be employable in this growth industry. On this course you will gain the skills, knowledge and experience that you will need to secure critical infrastructure and data systems . The program aims to train and produce graduates with advanced cybersecurity skills with a combined knowledge of theory and practice. York St John University is a member of the Yorkshire and Humberside Institute of Technology, which has allowed us to fund and develop specialist cybersecurity facilities and equipment, which will be housed in our state of the art creative centre, which will be opened in September 2021. Utilising the specialised cybersecurity resources and collaborations with industries offered by the Yorkshire and Humberside institute of Technology (YHIoT), students of the program will be provided with opportunities to engage in work-related projects and experiences using the specialised equipment to prepare them for work related challenges.
