The HND in Health and Social Care is a direct progression from the HNC in Health and Social Care. This course will provide you with a knowledge and understanding of core issues in Health and Social Care, and the skills required for employment. A Higher National Diploma qualification will provide you with an in-depth understanding of the key concepts and practical skills required for a more senior role within the health and social care sector. This nationally recognised qualification allows for direct progression in to employment, with a key focus on developing practical skills alongside building the knowledge and understanding of the underpinning theoretical elements. The programme provides the knowledge and skills needed to work in a range of roles within both health and social care. Emphasis on practical skill development, alongside the requisite knowledge and understanding, is an important component of the course.
