The HND in Health and Social Care is a direct progression from the HNC in Health and Social Care.
This course will provide you with a knowledge and understanding of core issues in Health and Social Care, and the skills required for employment.
A Higher National Diploma qualification will provide you with an in-depth understanding of the key concepts and practical skills required for a more senior role within the health and social care sector. This nationally recognised qualification allows for direct progression in to employment, with a key focus on developing practical skills alongside building the knowledge and understanding of the underpinning theoretical elements.
The programme provides the knowledge and skills needed to work in a range of roles within both health and social care. Emphasis on practical skill development, alongside the requisite knowledge and understanding, is an important component of the course. You will learn through applied practical work and develop skills to critically analyse information and develop knowledge skills and behaviours needed to succeed in the workplace.
